Scorchio...

So yeah, the heat...


It has dominated everything recently, Facebook and Twitter, most of the bonding with folks at my new job (**squeeeez**) has been done sitting out in the sun at lunch and its the reason things over here at Kirstiekrafts have been a little thin on the ground. I did drag the crochet out into the garden earlier, but quickly retreated indoors to watch Kill Bill 2 when I realised that it was hotter than Africa (and being a fair skinned, red headed woman I didn't want to make myself too crispy).


The new job is going well too. As much as its taking some getting used to, having a schedule with set times is going really well. Being able to make plans and stick to them is amazing, and I'm hoping in time this will lead to me being able to allocate my time better, which should lead to more crafting.
